What is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup, or PMU, is when a small amount of pigment is put into the skin, either by hand or with a machine. Permanent makeup is basically a tattoo that looks like makeup and enhances a certain part of your face, like nice brows , juicy lips or a clear eyelash line.
What do you need for my consultation?
Come to us with an idea of what you want and we will help you select the correct permanent makeup procedure to suit your face shape, skin colour, hair colour and lifestyle.
On the day of your appointment, don’t put on any makeup. Don’t take aspirin or any other medicine that thins your blood on the day of your appointment to avoid problems. We will run through all of this during your consultation appointment.
How long does it lasts?
Cosmetic tattooing is designed to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, lifestyle, age, metabolism, medications, and pigment color affect the longevity of the tattoo.
The sun and some kinds of lighting (tanning beds) can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. To take care of your (brows, lips & eyeliner) follow the aftercare instructions and touch-up your (brows, lips & eyeliner) every 12-18 months (as needed). Touch-ups are normal and expected for Permanent Cosmetics.
Please note that final results vary and CANNOT be guaranteed due to the nature of skin as it heals. A follow-up appointment is recommended at 6-8 weeks where we can assess your pigment retention and make any changes necessary.
Does it hurt
Most clients report little to no pain, and would compare it to a tweezing session. Many clients even fall asleep! Topical anesthetic is applied during the procedure so the client can feel at ease while receiving the treatment.
How long is the procedure?
A PMU sessions consists of
1) Mapping and design of the area to be tattooed
2) Chose the pigment colors.
3) The tattoo procedure takes around 1.5 – 2 hrs.
This entire session takes a total of 2.5 – 3 hrs.
Will I need a touch up and is that included in the price?

Si lo anterior es cierto, entonces puedes reservar un retoque a más tardar 8 semanas después del primer tratamiento.
